Il famoso scrittore di viaggi, Jasen Boko, è stato ospite della Biblioteca civica Novigrad-Cittanova mercoledì 19 giugno 2024. In quest’occasione ha tenuto una presentazione legata al suo libro „Život i smrt uz svetu rijeku : Gangesom od Himalaje do Bengalskog zaljeva“ (Vita e morte lungo il fiume sacro: il Gange dall’Himalaya al Golfo del Bengala), pubblicato nel 2020 dalla casa editrice Profil. Da grande amante dell’India, che visita regolarmente dal 1987, Jasen Boko ha presentato al pubblico il contesto storico, politico, economico e sociale di questo grande Paese. Nella sua dinamica presentazione Jasen Boko ha parlato dell’importanza del Gange per la vita, la cultura e la civiltà dell’India.
