La manifestazione nazionale il Mese del libro croato si sta lentamente concludendo come anche le attività per i bambini che stiamo svolgendo durante questo mese. Siamo stati molto felici ogni mattina perché abbiamo ricevuto tantissime visite delle classi delle scuole materne di entrambe le scuole materne di Cittanova, Tičići e Girasole, sette in totale (Sjenice, Sovice, Vrapčići, Kosići, Lastavice, Djetlići e Paguri), e dopo di loro, tutte le classi della Scuola elementare Rivarela e della Scuola elementare italiana, ben 27 classi, sono venute in biblioteca per due ore di lezione con i loro insegnanti di lingua croata. Abbiamo svolto diverse attività legate alla lettura e all’alfabetizzazione con gli studenti, abbiamo invitato ospiti interessanti (Jelena Pervan, Iva Bezinović-Haydon e Tatjana Pokrajac-Papucci), abbiamo letto libri illustrati seri e queli divertenti: “Palo s neba” dei fratelli Fan (Meandarmedia, 2021), “Kralj lav” di Emma Yarlett (Profil knjiga, 2023), “I tre porcellini” (Mozaik knjiga, 2009), ” Tko se to maloj krtici pokakao na glavu?” di Werner Holzwarth (Petrine knjiga, 2022). Gli alunni più grandi sono diventati bibliotecari per un giorno, consigliando alla classe i libri che abbiamo assegnato loro.
